Track is called "Masters of Mischief" and it's a remix of "A Curious Happening" from Secret of Mana. In the game it's the theme song of the Scorpion Army, a band of bandits with bad plans that always fail. A bit like Wiley E. Coyote or Pinky and the Brain. In the game they serve as the comic relief, and I think the lyrics for this shouldn't be too serious, maybe even silly!

I thought it would be nice to use the rap part (at 1:40-2:02) to introduce the Scorpion Army and their mischievous plans with much bravoure and fanfare. Would be great to have the texts "Scorpion Army" and "Masters of Mischief" in there somewhere. Other references to the game would be nice but not required.

At 2:00 my Eminem rap ends and there's just drums + arps. I like that part quite a bit, so if we can do something similar, that'd be awesome!


I also exported a beatbox beat and an adlib loop that I use a few times. While you're at it, maybe you can also record something similar? Not the beatboxing per se (but if you can beatbox, go for it!), but at least having some 'yeah's and 'uhhs' would be great so I can mix them in at places.

Other than that, go with the flow and see what comes out. If needed I can also extend the rap part with another 4 bars if you need it.
