Reference: http://www.jorito.net/files/pq2/policequest_20170205.mp3 Sound-wise I'm happy to leave it up to you, but here's some suggestions: - For the intro bell pad thing I thought it'd be a nice throwback to have a similar sound as the intro of "Beat It". Supposedly that was a Synclavier stock sound, but I didn't have that available. - For this kind of track I think a lead guitar works better than a sax sound (especially if you give it an 80s sound). But if you're really set on having a sax, consider recording the lead guitar part on a sax. - For ultimate cheese I panned the orchestra hits left and right, alternating. I used the Korg M1 for these; if you don't have it I can render it as audio. Police / reporter vox available here: http://freesound.org/people/Timbre/sounds/121297/ The vocoded vocals probably need re-recording, I did a very quick 'n dirty recording of it. Lyrics are: - "To protect" - "And to serve" - "Serve the law" Yeah, I stole the LAPD's motto :)
